الملخص

The present work is a comprehensive study about a prominent poet of Mosul in the twelfth century A. H. in which the researcher depended on printed and handwritten references. He was well – experienced and famous is many fields like teaching at well – reputed schools of Mosul, and was also committed to preaching in mosques and famous in writing poetry, religious and political praising, love poetry, poetry in exile, longing poetry, correspondence and advice. He was also good at some modern poetic arts like pentameter and partition. His style is characterized by easiness and clarity. His poetry is true and important documentation for the poetry and history of Mosul that should be studied and explained.
