The study of the director of the underage orphans' wealth in the records of the Sharia Court during the Ottoman period in Mosul is regarded as one of the major sources for studying the social history of that period. The Sharia Court is viewed as the legal and specialized authority which is concerned with the orphans' issues, besides investing and keeping an eye on their wealth. In order to clarify the responsibility of the director of the orphans' wealth, the research tackles several cases depending on the official documents in the Sharia Court's records.

During the nineteenth century copper had gained an important status because it was a crude material in making some utensils of the Mosuli kitchen, and main source for supporting many of artisans, who work in copper industrial, in addition to some people who work in transferring copper from south Turkey towards Mosul by Keleks on the Tigris River and hence to the south of Iraq and the Arab Gulf .
This research has came to shed light upon trade and industry of the copper in Mosul during the nineteenth century due to its obvious impact on Mosul economy at that time

Ibn Batish Al Mawsili is considered one of the most prominent scientists in the 7 th Century A.H/13 th A.D. He was born and grew up in Mosul, Spending almost 47 years after he had studied there. He traveled to different Islamic cities like Baghdad, Aleppo and Damascus then he returned to Mosul. Ibn Batish was appointed a lecturer in Al Badriya school. He left Mosul for scientific and political reasons, travelling to Aleppo where he finally stayed there. He became a teacher and faqih in Aleppo, and he wrote some books in the different fields of knowledge. The first of these were in Hadith, fiqh. He died in Aleppo in (655A.H/1257A.D.). is considered one of Ibn Batish's significant books Tbkat alfkha'a alshafa'iah, It is one of the lost historical sources . It has been known by some of the historical sources, such as Tabakat Ashafe'a Akobra by Subki (died 771 A.H/ 1369

The study gives an idea on the library services available in mosul city through a comparative study between two big libraries in the city, the central public library of Mosul city and the central library of Mosul university. The research reached to a conclusion that imspite of a relatively more advanced services provided by central library of Mosul university compared to those provided by central public library of Mosul city, the two libraries do not reach the ambitious level of the modern libraries, especially in the field of electronic services

The research tackles the problems faced by teachers in their work in scientific, humanitarian colleges. It aims at diagnosing the type of problems of scientific, administrative, social and security and related matters. researcher used social survey method (sample survey), and also used the comparative approach to compare the kind of problems and overlap between the teachers in the scientific, humanitarian specializations. The questionnaire is also the main tool for collecting information and data.
The research has come to the set of results especially there is many problems facing the teaching staff in scientific, administrative, social, and security fields. Moreover, it defined the most important problems such as the nature of the curriculum which lacking scientific analysis, the degraded scientific level of the students, and the decisions of the third round exams, in addition to, The delay of the scientific promotion, and lectures fees and so on.

The culture of the community paint of social life in it. The characteristics of change, that is, they do not remain static or temporally spatially, both in part to physical or mental. We see that the performance of different formats in the social structure of society, which seeks to achieve the objectives of individuals and satisfy their needs. And tarry in the performance of any one of these formats will affect the activity of the other. And the market could be considered an economic unit within the economic pattern in the social structure, and therefore any change affecting it will affect other units in the city. The objective of this research to identify the most important parts of the Changing Market, highlighting the most important implications and consequences. And arrive at the results at the most important, that the city of mosul. Including a variety of markets, although its market witnessing change in both its construction or function.
