Mosul is one of the most important cities in which Hanbalis appeared, especially it was famous for its hundreds of hadith scholars during the third and fourth centuries A.H. / 9th and 10th centuries A.D. Hanbalis formed a fundamental pillar in intellectual life of Mosul during the period under consideration, through teaching and granting scientific and religious certificates plus authorship.

This research try to put light on the observation of the traveler Petachia of Ratisbon in the Mosul and Nineveh through his travel's book which carried his name the important of this research apper that isn't wrote any Arabic studies about it. The researcher attempt to follow this next that related of two cities by study and analysis. we started it by many of resources and foreign studies in addition to the researches of Iraqi Virtual Scientific Library which introduce important article about Petachia of Ratisbon this article divided in two research this first take the like of Petachia of Ratisbonthis and the names that he know by it and take about his family and his study and then talked about the famous traveler that contemporary to him and talked about their travel's and he talk about the religion and political to his travel and the regions that he pass on it. In addition to the style of the travel and he also focus on the book of traveler and clarification the copy of manuscript which print and translate.The second research focus on descript the Mosul and Nineveh and try to stand on the text that talked about two cities analysis explain criticism and comparison to paint picture by his embodied views in the travel book.

Many travelers and geographers indicated in their writings to the
city of Mosul ,and they spoke about it in detail .they also spoke a bout many far –famed people of Mosul .Therefore, in this research wetried to study some well-known men who were mentioned in the writings of those travelers and geographers. among them were the ascetics, the worshipers,the righteous , the men of letters ,udaba, and scalars , in addition to government, ministers, and rulers .in this research we relied upon some geographers and travelers, books, such as (Tuhfat Al-Albab wa-Nukhbat Al-I,gab)(gift of secrets and selection of wonders),,by Al-Garnati, kitab (Al-Isharat ila Ma,rifat Al-Ziyara) book of indications to make known the places of visitions by al-Harawi, and (Tuhfat an-Nazzar fi Gharaib al- Amsar wa Aja,ib al-Asfar) by ibn battuta

The research deals with the biography and rule of an prince of Mosul's Al-Zankiyyah princes who ruled the city in the late years of Al-Zankiyyah state, which took place in the city of Mosul and the changes during these years in the structure and system of the state and the impact on the nature of the reign of Prince Izz al-Din Massoud II, and on the relations of Al-Zankiyyah state in his reign . as his reign witnessed fundamental and fateful changes in the entity and future of the state ruled by his fathers and his ancestors.

Cultural heritage is a great and very important in preserving and minting national identity .This is reflect of fact it gives more attention to the various forms, especially languages, as a carrier of the intangible cultural heritage, which is frequently passed on by generations and constitutes a witness to collective identity.

The research tried to introduce to acutalit of the environmental consciousness of individuals of Mosuli society and means of its development through afild study applied in Mosul city .Therefor the research concluded the little environmental consciousness and the wrong behaviors of individuals of the sample through many of wrong behaviors and conducts towarals way of treatment with the envioronment in throwing of wastes from the vehicles and the house garbage in any empty place or street, then playing with the public gardens and parks etc…..

The research aims to identify the most important administrative, educational, social and economic challenges that faced the educational process in school of the city of Mosul in 2017, to identify the most of these challenges affect the teaching stff.
One of the most prominent search results is that challenges have a negative impact on the development of the educational process and that most of these challenges were result of the special circumstances that were in the city and didn’t exist in other provinces stable security in Iraq.

The changes which hael happened it a lot of things which not accepted by community mosaic,so it appeared decentrization ,the plane for terms of reference between the central and local government .in all Iraqi govermentes and when these new models were appeared , most of people believed that they were saved Iraq from problems which were existed by the central government by which wanted to administrate the state .
Therefore we must research adjustment relationship between the central government and local government and its effect of the thinks upon the peaceful, coexistence in Iraq in general and mosul especially after the events which had happened in mosul .
